  • Start out going North on ramp
  • Merge onto George Washington Memorial Pkwy N.
  • Merge onto I-495 N/Capital Beltway toward Maryland
  • Merge onto I-270 spur N via Exit 38 on the left toward Rockville/Frederick
  • I-270 spur N becomes I-270 N
  • I-270 N becomes US-40 W
  • US 40 W becomes US 15 N
  • Take the MD-550 N exit toward Sabillasville/Ft. Ritchie
  • Turn left onto MD-550/Sabillasville Rd./N. Church St. Continue to follow MD-550/Sabillasville Rd.
  • Travel 6.3 miles to Sabillasville. (During this leg to Sabillasville, you will pass through one stop sign at 4.4 miles.)
  • Continue thru Sabillaville
  • As you near The Victor Cullen School, you will bare to the RIGHT. Proceed with caution!
  • You will come to a one lane underpass. Pass through with caution.
  • Continue until you reach a stop sign. Turn RIGHT onto Monterey Lane.
  • Drive about ~0.8 mile
  • Turn Right onto Summit Farms.
  • Turn Right onto Jacob’s Church
  • Turn LEFT onto Stahley Road. (You will see a wooden shelter to your right.)
  • The Lodge Entrance is located at the end of Stahley.
  • Enter through the gate.
  • Bare right on the drive up to The Lodge.
From Washington Dulles International Airport:
  • Start out going West on Saarinen Circle toward Dulles Airport Access Rd.
  • Turn slight right onto Copilot Way
  • Turn right toward Daily Garage 1
  • Turn right
  • Turn right onto Aviation Dr.
  • Turn left onto ramp
  • Merge onto Dulles Airport Access Rd.
  • Merge onto VA-267 W/Dulles Greenway toward Leesburg (portions toll)
  • Take the US-15 N / VA –7 exit - exit 1B –toward Frederick MD.
  • Merge onto US-15 BYP N/Leesburg BYP
  • US-15 BYP N/Leesburg BTP becomes US-15 N
  • Merge onto US-40 W
  • US-40 W becomes US-15 N.

  • Merge onto I-70 W via exit 25B toward Frederick
  • Merge onto US-40 W via exit 53B toward Gettysburg
  • US-40 W becomes US-15 N
  • Take the MD-550 N exit toward Sabillasville / Ft. Richie
  • Turn left onto MD-550 / Sabillasville Rd/N Church St. Continue to follow MD-550 / Sabillasville Rd.

  • Merge onto I-76 / Pennsylvania Turnpike w. toward Pittsburg (portion toll)
  • Merge onto US-15 S via Exit 236 toward Gettysburg
  • Stay on us-15 S, pass Gettysburg and enter into Maryland
  • Turn onto N Seton Ave. / Emmitsburg, Md.
  • Turn left onto MD-140 / W Main St. Continue to follow MD-140
  • MD-140 becomes PA-16
  • Turn left onto Jacobs Church Rd. at top of mountain before Rail Road Tracks
  • Turn left onto Stahley Road.

  • 15 North towards Thurmont (From the Rosemont Exit in Frederick, it is 16.4 miles to the 550 exit.)

  • Just as you pass Mt. Saint Mary’s, you will have to get into the left lane and prepare to turn. You will see Chubby’s on the right and a Getty gas station on the left.
  • Turn LEFT onto South Seton Avenue. Travel about 1.1 miles.
  • Turn LEFT onto MD-140 / West Main Street
  • MD-140 becomes PA-16. Travel ~9 miles.
  • Turn LEFT onto Jacobs Church (Right before the train tracks. ~0.3 miles)
  • Turn LEFT onto Stahley Road
  • The Lodge Entrance is located at the end of Stahley.
  • Enter through the gate.
  • Bare right on the drive up to The Lodge.
 From Hagerstown:
  • Drive NORTHEAST on South Locust Street.
  • Turn LEFT onto FAIRGROUND Avenue / MD – 60 N.
  • Turn RIGHT onto POTOMAC Avenue / MD-60. Continue to follow MD-60.
  • Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto MD-418 N / RINGGOLD Pike (entering into PA).
  • MD-418 N / RINGGOLD Pike becomes MIDVALE Road.
  • Turn RIGHT onto BUCHANAN TRAIL EAST / PA-16 / EAST MAIN STREET.
  • Continue to follow BUCHANAN TRAIL EAST / PA-16.
  • Turn RIGHT onto JACOBS CHURCH ROAD.
  • Turn LEFT onto Stahley.
 From Chambersburg:
  • Take PA-316/ Wayne Ave SOUTHEAST out of Chambersburg.
  • Travel for 14 miles into Waynesboro.
  • At traffic light turn LEFT onto PA-16 east/ Buchanan Trail East.
  • Travel on PA16 for approx. 8 miles into Blue Ridge Summit
  • Cross over Rail Road tracks.
